Syracuse Post-Standard, 23 March 1987: LINUS M. DUGER, 49 WAS VP AT SENECA FEDERAL SAVINGS Linus M. Duger, 49, of 32 Mott Road, Baldwinsville, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long illness. Born in Plainville, Mr. Duger lived all his life in Plainville and Baldwinsville. He was vice president of Seneca Federal Savings and Loan Association. Mr. Duger was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and also was treasurer and officer of the church for 19 years. He was treasurer for the Baldwinsville Oktoberfest Committee. He was past president of the Baldwinsville Chamber of Commerce and was cited in 1966 and 1967 as its Man of the Year. He was a past president of the Liverpool Rotary Club, and organizer and charter president of the Baldwinsville Rotary Club. He had received the Rotary Paul Harris Fellow Award. Mr. Duger was a past president of Meals on Wheels in Baldwinsville and past president and treasurer of the Baldwinsville Community Scholarship Foundation. He was the private funds treasurer for the Baldwinsville Library and was active in the Baldwinsville Sharks swim club. He was an honorary member of the Female Charitable Society and was active in many federal savings and loan organizations statewide. Surviving are his wife, Annette Durgee Duger; a son, Linus M. Duger II at home; a daughter, Lynette at home; three sisters, Alice Osborne, Yvonne Reagan and Leila Howser, all of Baldwinsville; and two brothers, Gerald of Baldwinsville and Floyd of Elbridge.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the First Presbyterian Church, Baldwinsville. Burial will be in Plainville Cemetery
