At Fort Scott, on the 22d of October, Corporal Lyman Saunders, aged 31 years, of Company F., 13th Kansas Regiment. The deceased was a man held in high esteem by his friends and acquaintances for his many noble qualities of head and heart, and his untimely death will be deeply felt and sincerely mourned by a large circle. He was the only son of Dennis Saunders, of Pardee.
