Obituary (from Find A Grave)

    Lyle C. Yockey, 64, of Monticello died at 8:59 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 1986 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
    Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m. Friday at Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello, the Rev. Steve Ingram officiating.  Burial was in Monticello Cemetery.
    Mr. Yockey was born Dec. 18, 1921, in Piatt County, a son of David E. and Esta B. McFeeters Yockey.  He married Marian B. Wittig on March 4, 1947, in Monticello.  She survives.
    Also surviving are two sons, L. Duane Yockey of Normal and David E. Yockey of LeRoy; three daughters, Brenda Wisegarver of Bloomington, Barbara Lucas of Roverton and Bonnie Swango of Matton; and eight grandchildren.
    Mr. Yockey was a city employee in Monticello for 32 years, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of First Christian Church of Monticello.
