Presumably born after 19 Nov 1660 since not mentioned in grandfather Richard Sparrow's will on that date. Married William Freeman about 1684 since son William born about 1685 so presume born before, say, 1665. This fits into family since Jonathan's sons, Jonathan b. 1665 and Richard b. 1670, are recorded consecutively with no births in between. Lydia did not, apparently, inherit from Gov. Thomas Prence via Jonathan's second wife Hannah (Prence) Mayo, suggesting she is daughter of Rebecca Bangs.

In deed dated 5 October 1708 concerning land that had belonged to Capt. Jonathan Sparrow and was being conveyed to his son Jonathan by his heirs, Lydia Sparrow, who married William Freeman, is named as the wife of Jonathan Higgins Jr. It was acknowledged by Lydia and her husband on 16 Mar 1708/9.
