    "195. Lydia (Lothrop), born in Norwich, April 10, 1718, and married, as his second wife, Jan. 1, 1739-40, Joseph, son of John and Mehetabel (Chandler) Coit. They settled in New London, where he was a ship-master and engaged in commercial pursuits, until the period of the Revolution, when he removed to Norwich, where he died, April 27, 1787, and she, Jan. 10, 1794."
