  3. Lydia Hockett Moon, daughter of Jacob and Anna Hockett, was born August 9, 1834, and died March 11, 1921 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Haines, in Morrow, Ohio, aged 86 years, 7 months and 8 days.
    She was the youngest child in the family of three.
    She was married to Wilkerson T. Moon in 1852, and to this union were born seven children; five boys and two girls, Sanford, of Maxwell, Okla.; Erlistus and Jacob of Denver, Colo.; Elbridge of Independence, Kan; Walter of Paoli, Ind.; Eva Wheeler of Dayton, Ohio, and Anna Haines, of Morrow, Ohio.
    She lived a beautiful, devoted Christian life. She was a birthright member of the Friends church, which she attended when her health permitted.
    She was a resident of Paoli for a number of years.
    All through her affliction she was very patient, and appreciated every act of kindness that was shown her. Her trust was always in Him who doeth all things well.
    She has several grandchildren, relatives and many friends to mourn her departure. She often spoke of her loneliness since the death of her husband, two years ago, and expressed a great desire to be with him.
    Asleep in Jesus, peaceful rest,
    Whose waking is supremely blest;
    No fear, no woe shall dim that hour that manifest the Savior's power.
    CARD OF THANKS
