    Mrs. Lydia Watkins, relict of Robert J. Watkins, deceased, died Wednesday morning at the old home, south of Pickreltown, aged 83 years, six months and twenty days. Her death resulted from a slight stroke of paralysis. The funeral will occur today. Deceased was the mother of John W. and Edward Watkins and a sister of Mrs. Jonathan Thomas deceased, and a daughter of Thomas Cowgill, of Champaign county. She had long been a resident of Champaign county.
