[Note: since this is based on a gravestone, it can't be relied on to represent the birthplace. The mother was dismissed to Ashburnham on 16 Oct 1803, and probably had established her residency there by then and presumably would not move near her delivery date, plus Lydia is not recorded in Scituate, plus the tendency for age 2 (see death record) to actually mean in her 2nd year, i.e., age 1. So perhaps Ashburnham is more likely than Scituate, but it could be either.]
