BIRTH: Tombstone inscription, Providence Cemetery, Burns, MS states "1838". Death certificate states she was 98y 8m old which would place her birth as June-July 1833. All census schedules, including 1900, show she was born in 1837, however.

DEATH: Luvenia Kennedy death certificate #4458, Simpson Co, MS. Death date on tombstone (15 Feb 1925) does not match date on death certificate (8 Mar 1932). Tombstone was apparently pla ced considerably later. Cause of death: "Senility".
