Subject: [VTRUT] Luther Eastman, Rutland, Vt. Date: Fri, 30 Jan 2009 00:42:04 -0500 Source, Rutland Daily Herald--Mon. N Nov. 23, 1903. RUTLAND, VT. The funeral of Luther Eastman, who died at Ludlow Thursday, was held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sabra Caswell, No. 124 Pearl street, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Dr. George W. Phillips officiating. The bearers were John Plumley of Clarendon, Ziba Eastman and Chauncey Balch of Shrewsbury and Wallace Eastman of this city. The burial was in Evergreen cemetery, Harrison Sumner of Proctorsville was among those who attended the funeral from out of town. Transcribed by, Joan H. Bixby
