    OBITUARY Mrs. Lurenda Crofford was born in Laurel County, Kentucky, October 11,1834. She, with her husband, moved to Putnam County, Mo, in 1854. They went to Iowa in 1863 and remained there until 1903 since which time Oklahoma has been her home. She was married to Andrew Crofford in 1851 to which union fourteen children were born, seven boys and seven girls. Of these, four girls and four boys survice the deceased.
    . . .
    Mrs. Crofford died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gus Fest, in Pond Creek, Wednesday, February 26,1908. The funeral took place Thursday from the Christian church. Rev. Lyon preaching the sermon and the remains were laid to rest in the Pond Creek cemetery.
