    My g-father, Luke Joseph Padian, emigrated from Roscommon to the states in ~1922. My g-mother, Bridget Flynn, emigrated form Westmeath to the states in 1918. They married in NY. Lukes siblings were Peter, John, Tom, Bernie, Patrick,and Mary Ellen.(John, Tom, and Bernie died very young). Bridget's sib's were Martin, Mary, Christopher, James, Mick, Julia, and John. (Note: I think Bridget's baptismal certificate has her mis-spelled as Briged.) Luke's Parents, my g-grandparents, were Luke and Bridget(Beirne). This Luke's sib's were Tom, Harry, Pat, Bridget, and Mary. His father, my g-g-grandfather, was Tom Padian; he married a "Cassidy". This is where I am stuck on this line.

    To give you the names in my line, let's do a quick tour starting with me. My mom, Kathleen Elizabeth Padian married William Charles McGill and had 6 sons: Tom, me, Chris, Sean, Matthew, and Steven. I was born in Amityville, NY in 1964. We moved to Bridgewater NJ in 1966, where we remained until I got married in 1989. After the wedding my wife and I moved to Tampa, FL where we lived 8 years, and then 8 years in Ocala, FL. Then my job brought me to Minnesota, where we live today with 2 children: Olivia 13 and Adam 6.

    My mom was the only daughter of Luke Joseph Padian and Brigid Flynn. Luke was born in Roscommon and Brigid in Westmeath. They met in New York and were married. Kathleen has 3 brothers, Joseph, John, and Thomas.

    Luke Joseph Padian was the son of Luke Padian and Bridget Beirne. Their children were Peter, Mary Ellen, Patrick, Luke, John, Tom, and Bernie.

    Luke Padian was the son of Thomas Padian and Mary Cassidy. Their children were Luke, Tom, Harry , Pat, Bridget nad Mary.
    Bridget Beirne was the daughter ot Bernard Beirne and Bridget Igoe. This is one if the items that confused me with the McGovern & O'Beirne family data on rootsweb. Listed there is Bridget McHugh?

    Thomas Padian was the son of Luke Padian.
