[Includes headstone/monument photos. Inscription: IN Memory of LUDWIG EYER. Born Jany 8, 1767. Died Sepr 20, 1814. In the 48th year of his age he left a widow, 6 sons, and 4 daughters to deplore his loss. He was the proprietor of Bloomsburg laid out in 1802 and presented this square to the Luthern and Prebb congregation for a church and burying ground in 1807. Come pilgrams view this silent tomb Pause as you pass by Reflect upon your certain doom Like me you all must die. Your days on earth, they are but few Give not your souls for dross But think on Him who bled for you And died upon the cross. As I dear friend have sped my way Gods word is this to you Prepare your souls while you may to pass the grand review.]
