...Lucy Stanton, b. 3 May 1696, was daughter of Robert and Joanna (Gardner) Stanton. On 1 Sept. 1723, she owned the covenant and was admitted to the Congregational Church of Stonington. On 27 Oct. 1723, her husband, John MacDowell, owned the covenant and was subjected to the discipline. On the same day his three eldest children were baptized.
