Children of Joseph Stacy Read and Esther Goodwin: Lucy, b. 29 Oct 1804 [sic, not found in Cambridge VRs], d. 7 [sic, VRs say 6] Sep 1805.
None of the cited sources agree. The death appears correct plus or minus one day. An age of 2 months would suggest early July, so possibly born 29 Jun 1805, bp. 5 Jul following and died in Sept.? Or, the age at death is meant to say 12 months? This is, of course, all a bunch of wild speculation. But a birth in Oct 1804 seems unlikely as the previous sibling was born Aug 1803, and Reed is, on the whole, a very unreliable source.
