Lucy Marie Princler, 89, of New Stanton, passed away Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at Easy Living Estates, Hunker, following a period of failing health. Lucy was born Sept. 4, 1923, in Melcroft, the daughter of the late John and Birdie Lankey Keslar. She was a member of First Trinity United Church of Christ, Youngwood, and the Ladies Circle and Fellowship Club of the church. Lucy enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, flowers, gardening and was a volunteer at the Youngwood Area Public Library. Lucy is survived by her sons, Gerald Princler and wife, Joan, of Frederick, Md., and Donald Princler and wife, Cynthia, of Connoquenessing. Lucy was grandmother to Matthew, John, Laura and Julie; also nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, John Keslar and wife, Cecilia, of Pleasant Unity, Harry Thomas Keslar and wife, Helen, of Scottdale, James Keslar and wife, Benita, of Acme, Robert Keslar and wife, Norma, of Garrettsville, Ohio, Richard Keslar and wife, Margie, of Bullskin Township; and a sister-in-law, Helen Keslar, of Acme. In addition to her parents, Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Oscar Princler; and a brother, Charles David Keslar. Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE INC., 730 W. Main St., Mt. Pleasant, (724-547-2122), where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, with Pastor Avis Specht officiating. Interment will take place in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.
