They had a very modest house 25 Fuller Ave just above Queen St W. during WW I, but I'm told they soon moved to 8 Sorauren Ave not far away. Nobody has said if she had a job outside the house. Letty, Nora, Doll, (and Marjory ?) were shown as living at 25 Fuller during WW I and working. Archie b. 1904 and Ron b. 1906 must have been at school and living at home to the early 1920's, they were too young for WW I. Another tidbit, Letty and Nora had their marriages delayed to the mid 1920's at least in part so they could contribute to retiring the mortgage on 8 Sorauren Ave. Nora married 1924, at age 24, but Letty 1925, age 34, so it went harder for Let.

There may be a Huguenot connection and a good bet may be to lookfor a Huguenot congregation in Mortlake. Another possibility is the town of Frant in East Sussex. My mother recalls something of the town of Frant being their original place of settlement in Britain but she also recalls they were weavers having had something to do with the 'Mortlake tapestries' more likely the Mortlake Tapestry. The last big Huguenot move was with the revocation of the Edict of Nantes in 1685, but therewere many waves prior to that back to the St Bartholomew's Day Massacre in the mid-1500's. If that was when they were in the town of Frant.

Prospect Cemetery informs me that Philip is buried on top of Lucy Ann.
