Origins
There are only a few Vermont families in the 1820 census. Those that have male children under 10 (possible candidates for Lucius) are:
- Wm Bragg of Guildhall, Essex
- Alexander Bragg of Strafford, Orange (he is listed after a Wm Bragg with only older sons)
- Robert Bragg of Thetford, Orange (listed next to a Peter Bragg with no sons)
- Benjamin Bragg of Warren, Addison (listed next to a much older William Bragg)
None of these are obvious matches based on names, the only possible match is William, which as Lucius's 6th son is quite late to be a family name.`
