NIX, Lucille Poore (1913-1979) Keowee Courier July 11, 1979, West Union-- Lucille Poore Nix, 66, of Route 1, widow of Asa S. Nix, died Wednesday. Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Dollie Kelley Poore, a retired employee of Sangamo Electric, and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, Billy S. Nix of Clemson, A. Gerald, F. Douglas, and Kenneth E. Nix of Walhalla; sisters, Iola Taylor of West Union, Lois Bibb, Frances Catlett, Evelyn Jones and Rachel Stewart of Seneca, Catherine Blackwell of Pickens and Hazel Broome of Greenvlle, and six grandchildren.
