Lucille M "Peggy" Beeker, 82, formerly of Gibsonburg, died Wednesday morni ng at Bethesda Care Center where she had been a resident since 1996. She was born in Bradner to John and Mertie (Zimmerman) Immel and graduat ed from Bradner High School in 1937. She married Emil F Beeker on Jan. 2 5, 1941, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hessville. He died June 30, 1996.

A homemaker and farmwife, Mrs. Beeker was a member of the Friendly Neighb or Club and St. John's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are daughters Phyllis Holcombe of Portland, Ore, Marjorie Foug ht of Lindsey and Joyce Walter of Salinas, Calif.; son David Beeker of Gi bsonburg; sister Edna Gilliland of Sterling Heights MI.; and five grandch ildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also preceded by brothers Lest er and Robert and sisters Blanche Jones and Helen Rainey.

Visitation: Begins at 10 a.m. Friday, Nopper-Veh Funeral Home, Gibsonburg.

Services: Noon Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Quillen offic iating.

Burial: N Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg.

Memorials: To the church or the American Diabetes Association.
