Newspaper clipping of death: "Mr. Larson was born in Wisconsin in 1877, and moved to Friday Harbor while a young man. He was a mail carrier on San Juan Island for several years and was later transferred to Orcas Island, R.F.D., where folowing several years service he retired.. . . He is survived by his wife, Ada Mullis Larson of Eastsound, one son, Gene B. Larson of Seattle and one sister, Beulah Dupey of Friday Harbor and three grandchildren. . .Throughout his career for a hobby he trained himself as a plumber and steam fitter and a cabinet maker. His Eastsound shop was the best equipped on Orcas Island."
