This is a recording of an interview conducted by Cherlyn Curtis of Louise Hadler, daughter of Louise Williges Hadler, sister of Margarethe Williges Borgwardt, mother of Arthur Peter Borgwardt, father of Richard Bert Borgwardt, father of Cherlyn Ruth Borgwardt Curtis. The recording was made in the early 1970s and documents life for the Hadler and Williges families in the late 19th and early 20th centuries in the San Fransisco Bay Area in California, USA. Also present at the interview was Mary Curtis, mother-in-law to Cherlyn Curtis.
