Louisa's Parents

The Leonard book says Jonn Leonard "m. Mar. 5, 1832 Mrs. Louisa (Conant) [Raymond] Jones, b. in Warwick, June 8, 1798, dau. of Asa and Martha (Merriam) Conant and widow of Levi Jones." That was unlikely however, because in 1798 Asa was age 48 and Martha age 46. In addition, the Conant book lists no daughter Louisa for Asa and Warwick vital records (at FamilySearch) has no birth of a daughter Louisa.

The Soldiers of Oakham and Conant genealogy say Louisa was d/o Luther Conant and his 2nd wife Susanna Allen. The latter also says Louisa married 1st __ Raymond and 2nd __ Leonard.
