[Sordelet Family .FTW] Obituary Funeral services will be held Tuesday for Louis J. Roy, 86, who died at 11 a.m. Saturday at the home of his son, Leo, 3425 New Haven Avenue. Survivors include two other sons, Allen, White Pigeon, Michl, and Clarence, Monroeville; five daughters, Mrs. Guy Nelson, Shipshewana, Mrs. Fonzo Byrd, waynedale, Mrs. Charles Martin, Kalamazoo, Mich., Mrs. Harold Whitmeyer, white Pigeon, and Mrs. Clarence Sorgen, Fort Wayne; one sister, Mrs Henry Dierstein, Fort Wayne; 24 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The body will be taken from the Mungovan & Sons Mortuary to the residence of the son, where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Services will be held at 8 a.m. at the sons's home and at 9 a.m. at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Besancon, the Rev. Joseph Hession officiating. Burial will be at Besancon. FUNERAL HOME Louis J. Roy was born in New Haven, IN on 22 May 1860. He was a retired farmer and attended St. Louis Church, Besancon. One sister, Mrs. Henry Dierstew of Fort Wayne. 24 grand children, 16 great grand children. Services are 8:15 at the residence, 9 am at the church and burial at the church cemetery after 3 pm.
