HAGAN, LOUIS A

Louis A Hagen, 80, formerly of Van Buren St, Fostoria, died at 3 a.m. Sund ay, Feb. 24, 2002, at St. Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria.

He was born June 28, 1921 in Hamler to Albert and Minnie (Baden) Hage n. He married Luella Joseph on Nov. 21, 1942, and she survives.

Also surviving are a son, Gary of Fostoria; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Lyn n) Willett, Boston, Mass.; four grandchildren; a brother, Raymond of Hamle r; and three sisters, Esther Sonnenberg, Hamler; Arlene Rathge, Sylvani a; and Edna Conley, St. Louis, Mo.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Arnold; and a sister, Lavina Asmu s.

Mr. Hagen retired in 1979 as a foreman from Allied Signal, now Honeywel l, after more than 35 years.

He was a U.S Army veteran of World War II.

He was a 1939 graduate of Hamler High School.

Mr. Hagen was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Fostoria, where he was a d eacon and past president of Hope Lutheran Brotherhood. He was past preside nt of Lakota Athletic and Music Boosters, former Jackson Twp zoning inspec tor.

He was a former coach of Fostoria junior baseball and woman's softball tea ms.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Harrold-Floria na Funeral Home, Fostoria, the Rev. Larry Knigga officiating. Burial wi ll be in Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay, with military rites by Joi nt Veterans Group of Fostoria.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral hom e.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
