    Funeral services for Louis H.Parker who passed away on Friday,March 9 1945,were held Sunday afternoon,March 11,1945 at 2:30 p.m.at the Marrs Memorial Chapel and were conducted by Rev. Wesley O. Butcher with Interment in Muldoon Cemetery at Muldoon Tx. He was born at La Grange Tex.January 16 1886.He moved to Smithville Tx in 1902 and has made his home here since that time.
    Survived by his mother Mrs.J.M.Parker with whom he made his home,2 sisters,Mrs Minnie Lee Mortimer and Mrs R.A Sawyer both of Smithville Tx;three nephews Harold Mortimer of Beaumont,John L. Mortimer of Dallas Tx and Eugene Sawyer of Smithville Tx,but now in the U>S. Navy.Numbers from here and Many from the old home place attended the services at Muldoon Tx."
