Louella Ellis was the daughter of Seth Hockett Ellis and Rebecca Jane Tressler.

She married John McClure on 20 Feb 1894. They spent their honeymoon in St. Louis. They had three daughters -- Irene, Rebecca and Elma -- and a son, John "Ellis" McClure, the twin brother of Elma.

From a newspaper clipping, dated Friday, November 15, 1946:

Springboro -- Mrs. Louella Ellis McClure, 81, died late Wednesday at her residence on the Springboro-Ridgeville Road (RR 2, Lebanon). She was a lifelong resident of Warren County and an active member of the Springboro Methodist Church and Grange. Survivors, husband, John; three daughters, Mrs. Irene Miller and Miss Elma McClure, Franklin, and Mrs. Rebecca Shults, Alma, Michigan, and eight grandchildren. Services at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the residence with Rev. Elisha Nicely of Lima officiating. Burial in Springboro cemetery. Friends may call at the residence after 2 p.m. today.
