Obituary - Severy, Kan. Mrs. Lou Ellen Wisner, 53, Orlando, Fla., retired secretary for National Aeronautics and Space Administration and former Severy resident, died Tuesday. Service 11 A.M. Saturday, Forsberg Funeral Home, Severy. Survivors: Sons, James, Joe, both of Orlando, Mike of Birmingham; father, Alva Lawman of Barnsdall, Okla.; brother, Dale Bowman of Eureka, Kan.; sister, Mrs. Nilba Javine of Barnsdall.
LOU ELLEN WISNER Lou Ellen Wisner, of daughter of Alva and Bertha Crain Lawman, was born in Severy, Kansas, on August 22, 1924. She departed this life December 1, 1976, after a lengthy illness. She grew to womanhood in the Severy area. She attended the Severy schools. She lived for a time in Washington D.C. She was a retired Secretary for N.A.S.A. She was a member of the Trinity Methodist Chruch in Huntsville, Alabama. She moved to Orlando, Florida two years ago. She is survived by her three sons, Jim and Joe of Orlando, Florida and Mike of Birmingham, Alabama, two granddaughters, Catherine Ellen and Elizabeth Roe of Orlando, her father, Dale Lawman of Eureka, Kansas, one sister, Wilda Javine of Barnsdall, Oklahoma, several nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 4, 1976, at the Forsberg Funeral Home in Severy Kansas. Officiating clergyman was Rev. Harold Jensen. Burial was in South Lawn Cemetery, Severy Kansas.
