Lorraine Bliss "Lorrie" Wallace, 79, of Leonardtown, MD passed away on February 20, 2016 . . . in Callaway, MD. She was born on March 1, 1936 in Deadwood, S.D., to the late Harry Howard Bliss and Sadie Hester Calhoun.
Lorrie is a graduate of Otterbein University in Westerville, OH. On June 20, 1964, she married Fred Wallace in Miamisburg, OH. Together they celebrated over 51 wonderful years.
Lorrie was an excellent cook and she and her husband loved to entertain friends. She was a beautiful seamstress and taught the Bishop Method of Sewing. She made many patterns for women's clothing. She loved to travel with her husband, and has taken many worldly expeditions. . . . .
She was the past regent and long-time member of the Daughters of the America Revolution and past president of the Genealogy Society. She was also a member of the National Society United States Daughters of 1812, The Society of Mayflower Descendants in Maryland, and First Saints Community Church, Leonardtown Campus.
