... Word has been received from Mrs. Carl R. Starr of "The Overlook," Foster
street, Littleton Common, of the death of her mother, Mrs. Hilton A. Pitt of
"Ellersie," Hamilton, Bermuda, where Mrs. Starr is at present. Mrs. Pitt was
widely known in this community, having been a summer visitor on many occasions.
She was born in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, 84 years ago, the daughter of the late
Dr. and Mrs. E.N. Bryant [sic] and had been a resident of Bermuda since 1866.
She leaves four daughters,
Mrs. Carl R. Starr, past president of the Littleton Woman's club;
Mrs. Clarendon Masters,
Mrs. Murray Wilson and
Mrs. Alex Burrows of Pembroke, Bermuda,
and several grandchildren.
The sympathy of this community is extended Mrs. Starr and her sisters in the death of their mother. ...
