Loretta Jean (Hull) Stahley, 75, was born on August 31, 1931 in Janesville, Wisconsin. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 18, 2007, after a short illness following surgery. Loretta was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker. She had various jobs over the years including caring for the elderly in nursing homes and hospitals and also retired from Mervyns in Mesa. Her main retirement joy was sharing her Love of Jesus to all the ones he brought into her life. Mom's greatest desire in her last days was to know that ALL of her family, grandchildren and future great-grandchildren would know Jesus and be able to one day join her in Heaven. Her favorite sayings were "Read the Word" and "Be Prepared because He is Coming Soon"! She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin of 50 years, the Love of Her Life. They were married June 5, 1954 in Seattle, Washington. In 1978, they moved to Arizona. Together they have four children: Wilna (Patrick) Wheeler of Montesano, WA; Cressie (Kevin) Baerg of Gig Harbor, WA; Chad (Deena) Stahley of Gilbert, AZ, and Kathleen (Paul) Hoffmann of Mesa, AZ. Grandchildren: Trish (James) Dauer, Lisa (Jordan) Bradbury and Trevor Wheeler; Joel, Melissa and Emilee Goff; April, Amanda, Andrea and Aaron Stahley; and Sarah, Rebecca, and Joshua Hoffmann, and great-grandchild Eddie Goff. Sisters: Diana Williams (WA) and Maureen Willier (PA) and Brothers: Malcom (WI), Douglas (AZ) and Norman (FL). She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Leona Hull and an infant brother.
