Obituary - TOPEKA CAPITOL-JOURNAL, Monday, June 1, 1992 Loretta M. Carlson Loretta M. Carlson, 66, Topeka, died Sunday, May 31, 1992 at a Topeka hospital. Mrs. Carlson was a silk screen operator for Josten's Yearbook 10 years. She retired in 1987. She was born July 30, 1925, in Brooklyn, N. Y., the daughter of Edward and Mary Rooney Greene. Mrs. Carlson was a member of the Catholic Church. She was married to Clifford E. Carlson Jan. 10, 1946, in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Richard J. Carlson, Berryton, and Thomas E. Carlson, Lawrence; a brother, James W. Greene, Virginia Beach, Va.; two sisters, Mary E. Esposito, Virginia Beach, Va., and Agnes C. Sileo, Tonawanda, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Carlson will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Brennan Funeral Home where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oncology Unit at St. Francis Hospital, 1700 W. 7th, 66606, the Cat Association of Topeka, 5324 W. 17th, 66604, or the Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 Rochester Road, 66617.
