Lonny D. Fry, 71, of Old Fort, passed away at 3:05 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2021 at his residence.

Lonny was born on September 2, 1949 in Tiffin, to the late Kenneth E. and Rowena O. (Roop) Fry. He married Rita Fry-Bradbury and they later divorced.

Survivors include his children, Tanya M. Guthrie of Bellevue, and Christopher K. Fry of Perrysburg, five grandchildren, two sisters, Emily C. Kizer of Perrysburg, and Andrea C. (David) Omlor of Old Fort, and two sisters-in-law, Jan Fry of Tiffin and Jeannette Fry of Old Fort.

Lonny was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronald E. Fry and Michael L. Fry.

Lonny graduated from Old Fort High School in 1967. He worked as a mechanic, auto parts business owner, and for the Ohio Turnpike Commission. Lonny loved Lake Erie and enjoyed boating, fishing, and camping. He also liked music and cars.

A private celebration of Lonny's life will be held at a later date. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
