    Mrs. Henry Wessel Claimed By Death
    Mrs. Lola Frances Wessel,66 wife of Henry Wessel of Lee township passed away at eight o'clock Monday Sept. 1, 1958 at the Adair Memorial Hospital to which place she was admitted at 9:00 p.m. Saturday night when her condition became critical.
    Mrs Wessel was injured July first when a lightning bolt traveled down a telephone line and burned the instrument she was using during an electrical storm. Whether or not the injury suffered at that time had a bearing on the condition which caused her death has not as yet been determined. A son Warren Carl Wessel preceded her in death August 18.
    Surviving Mrs. Wessel are her husband, three sons and three daughters, Gene Wessel of Greenfield and Loyd and Albert Wessels of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Wilma Rodenbaugh of Guthrie Center, Mrs. Edna Edsall of Fontanelle, and Mrs. Mary Valentine of Greenfield: Also three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Bowers and Mrs. Nellie Hall, both of Creston, and Mrs. Dollie Withaus of Des Moines, and a brother Lyle Keating of Council Bluffs.
    Funeral services were to be held at the Bickford Funeral Home this Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock, with Ronald L. Shelley of Atlantic officiating. Burial in the family plot in the Greenfield cemetery.
