California death index on ancestry.com shows date of birth as 9 Aug. 1895; death as 24 Oct. 1975. Her name is shown as Lola F. Wagner. I can't be positive this is our Lola. The death index gave her SSN as 561-21-1390, issued in CA in 1973. I checked the Soc. Sec. death index and found her address as Whittier, CA. It seems strange though that a woman that age would be applying for a SSN unless it wasn't for work purposes.
