    5 Aug 1844: The undersigned respectfully represent that Lois Eager of Royalston insaid County, is an insane person, and incapable of taking care of her self or her property. Signed Selectmen of Royalston.

    25 Sep 1844: Petition of Russell Morse to sell property to pay debts: cites "Will of Joseph Eves, late of said Royalston, deceased, who was the husband of the said Lois Eager" allowing sale of his estate for her benefit, "is the only property which now remains to be appropriated to the payment of said debts ... consists of a Farm of about 60 acres with buildings thereon, situate in the northerly part of Royalston, adjoining land of Stephen Richardson & others." License to sell granted.
