Two graddaughters; Donna Recob of Kansas City and Lauri Russell of Lakin. Five grandsons; Steve Sunday of Point Washington, Florida, Troy Johnson, Shannon Johnson, Trevor Howell and Travis Howell of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. 15 great-grandchildren; Kyle Pelton, Krystal Pelton, Logan Spears, Joseph Howell, Honathon Howell, Shandi Johnson, Shannon Johnson, Jr., Breanna Johnson, Brittany Wills, Landon Colton, Taylor Colton, Caden Helberg, Tanner Helberg, Wesley sunday, and Erin Howell. Two grea-great-grandchildren; Danian Pelton and Baily Howell. One brother, Wenzel Spear of Morrisville, Vermont. Lois died at her home in Garden City. She was born the daughter of Jude Apt and Grace (Heath) Spear. She grew up and spent many years in Vermont before living for 32 years in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She moved to Garden City in 2000. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, puzzles and making afgans. She married Stephen Bert Collins in the late 40's at Woodbury, Vermont, he died on July 29, 1971. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Rena Howell, one sister, Marion Fisk and one brother, Gilford Spear. Memberships: Lois was a member of the Williston Federated Methodist Church in Williston, Vermont. A family service will take place on Monday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. Memorials may be made out to the American Kidney Foundation in care of Garnand Funeral Home. |
