WW1 Draft Reistration card (June 5, 1917) says he was born in Rudolph, Wood Co., Wisconsisn. At that time he was married, no children and living in Wausau, Wisconsin, working as an "automobile mechanic." Described self as medium height and build, brown hair, blue eyes, not bald, with no disabilities. Had not served in the military at that time.

Obituary, Duluth News-Tribune, Friday, Nov. 25, 1960, p. 22 Lloyd Allie, 68, of 1003 E 8th Street, died in a Duluth hospital Thursday morning. Mr. Allie was born in Wisconsin and was a veteran of World War I. He was the operator of Allie's Modern Sharpening and Appliance Repair Shop. Surviving are his wife, Frances, and a son, Charles, Duluth.

Funeral Notice, Duluth News-Tribune, Sunday, Nov. 27, 1960, p. 32 ALLIE, Lloyd, residence 1003 E 8th St. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Johnson Mortuary Chapel, the Rev. D. Walter Lyngdahl officiating. Interment Park Hill Cemetery.
