OBITUARY: Mrs. B. E. A. Simons AUSTIN, SIMONS Posted By: Transcriber Date: 12/4/2002 at 03:40:24 SIMONS, Mrs. Thursday, November 16, 1877 - A dispatch received here Saturday morning, November 11th, brings the melancholy news of the death of Mrs. B. E. A. Simons. She was in Illinois at the time of her death. Her remains were brought here, arriving Tuesday evening. The funeral took place on Wednesday at two P. M. from the residence of her brother, Mr. B. J. Austin. (Montgomery County Express).
