     Linus Laughner, 83, Dies In Whitestown
     
     Linus O. Laughner, 83, a former resident of Henry county, died Monday evening at his home in Whitestown. He was a native of Boone county and farmed in Henry county for 25 years before moving to Whitestown. He was a member of the Lutheran Church.
     Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Jennie Laughner; two daughters: Mrs. Pauline Terrill of near Lebanon and Miss Gertrude Laughner of Indianapolis; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Laughner of Whitestown.
     Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in the Russell and Hitch Funeral Home in Lebanon. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery there.
