Linnie was of medium height, somewhat heavy in her later life.

She was of a family that owned property with more than the average wealth found in the community, her marriage to George Lee Cole, who's assets equal zero, was not approved by her parents. Very little contact was made between these families. Linnie gave to her sons and daughters a strict and very honorable teachings. The family reflected a somewhat reserved and clannish personalities, but they were liked and involved in the local church and political affairs. Linne's dead was due to heart failure.
