-Israel Hills (1757-1827) enlisted, 1776, as private in the 6th company, New York militia, under Lieutenant Andruss. He was born and died in East Glastonbury, Conn. -Isaac Hale (1757-1832) served as private in the 6th company, 6th regiment, Connecticut militia. He was born and died in Glastonbury, Conn. -Phineas Williams (1734-1820) served in the militia and when Vermont organized its militia he commanded the first company. He was selectman of Woodstock, 1778, and served many years. He was born in Mansfield, Conn.; died in Woodstock, Vt.
