Payette Enterprise November 30, 1944 REDINGTON, LILY Fruitland Pioneer Called By Death

Mrs. Lily B. Redington, Fruitland pioneer, passed away Tuesday night, Nov. 28th at the Mary Secor hospital at Emmett. Mrs. Redington was born at Eleria, Ohio, February 27, 1854. She was married to William Redington, at Eleria, Ohio in1881. They moved to Fruitland in '83 and homesteaded the land now owned by Dorathy and Ramey. She was a graduate of the Oberlin college in Ohio and was the second teacher in Washoe district. Mrs. Redington leaves two sons, Harry B. of Horseshoe Bend with whom she made her home, and Jesse of Drain, Oregon, one granddaughter and three great-grandsons. Her husband and one son preceded her in death. (Riverside Cemetery)
