Lillie Mae Green
Lillie Mae Green was born December 9, 1878 to Oscar Anderson and Jennie Stanley in Warren County, Illinois and departed this life August 29, 1972 at the age of 93 years 8 months and 20 days.
She was married to Grant Miller in 1898, Lynn Beebe in 1900 and John Green in 1906. They homesteaded in South Dakota in 1906 and moved to Menlo, Iowa in 1911 and then to Stuart, Iowa.
Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Florence Walrath, Ellen Lattimer and Effie Sutter, two brothers Ben Anderson and Axcil E. Anderson.
Mrs. Green had not been able to maintain her home at Stuart any longer and had most recently been in the care of Mr. and Mrs. Verne Sharon at Jefferson.
Surviving are two sons, Lester Green of Guthrie Center, and Alva Beebe of Stuart; two grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and fourteen great, great grandchildren. Also two brothers, Ray Anderson of Stuart and Gene Anderson of Missouri.
