Register of Deeds (scottish records): Lilias Marshall, relict of Alexander Horseburgh, surgeon, Glasgow, had bonds registered 5dec1749 and 1751. From “Burgesses and Guild Brethren of Glasgow”: Alexander Horsburgh, serjeant apothecary, became Burgess 12dec1718. Alexander Horseburgh, surgeon, married Lillias, 1st daughter of Henry Marshall, surgeon, burgess, 18sep1735. It is possible that Lillias Marshell was christened 22dec1702 at Glasgow, daughter of Henry Marshell and Margaret Storie (Latter Day saints).
