Mrs.L.Cummings Passes Away - Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian B.Cummings who passed away in a Prince Albert hospital on Jun 25 were held from Shellbrook Pentecostal Church on Jun 27th, Rev.L.Clary officiated. Mrs.Cummings was born in Haddam, KS on Jun 22, 1885. She came to Canada with her mother Mrs.R.A.Swan when they took up residence in Parkside. In 1922 she married Edward Cummings and they continued to live in Parkside until Mrs Cummings death in Jan 1955. Mrs Cummings resided in Shellbrook for several years. She is survived by one brother, Carl Swan of Parkside; four nephews, Paul, Arthur, & George of Parkside and John of Ontario; 4 neices - Mrs. Ruby Henry of Grand Prairie, Mrs. E.Palm of Lake Cowichan, Mrs Olga Fizell of Choiceland, Mrs. Agness Klein of Stump Lake. She was predeceased by her mother in 1940 & one brother, Claude Swan in 1959. Interment was made in the family plot in Shellbrook cemetery with Dalziel's Funeral Home in charge of the arrangemen. NOTE: Handwritten across the bottom - Lillie Swan was youngest child of Uncle Reuben Swan
