Lillian G. Zirot, 94, of North Sewickley Township, died Tuesday, August 11, 2015, in Rochester Manor.
Born March 11, 1921, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late William Bruce Riley, Sr. and Julia Stokes Riley.
She had been employed as the manager of the Angelis Apartments in Beaver Falls by Itzkovitz Enterprises for many years. She had been a member of the former First German Lutheran Church in Beaver Falls. She also belonged to a traveling Bunco Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrich S. Zirot, Sr. in 1968; two daughters, Carole Marlene Kray and Julia Ann Doucette; two sisters, Edith "Dee Dee" Burkhart and Pearl Viola Campbell, and two brothers, Edward "Buck" Riley and Wilbur "Wib" Riley.
She is survived by her five children, Geraldine Dellafate, New Brighton; Fredrich S. Zirot, Jr. and his wife Suzanne, Florida; Peter Zirot, Aliquippa; Patty Barnes, North Sewickley Township, and Tammy Jo Zirot, North Sewickley Township; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; two special grandchildren, Patty Ann Stephens, North Sewickley Township and Rich Zirot III; three great-grandchildren, Lily, Shane, and Julia; a special nephew, Fred Campbell, Beaver Falls, and two special friends, John Knight and Irene Fritz.
Friends will be received Friday from noon until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, with the Rev. Kim Rapczak officiating. Private interment in Beaver Falls Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Dr. Christopher Gehrlein and the nurses and staff at Rochester Manor for the care that was given to their mother. They would also like to thank Mother Teresa Hospice for all of their support.
