    LEWIS C. TRENT 

     Lewis C. "Hessie" Trent, 68, of Canton, Ohio, died Sept. 30, 1989, at his
 residence.  He was born July 27, 1921 in Boynton and had been a resident of
 this area until 1940.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Glenna (Baer) Trent;
 two daughters: Mrs. Richie (Mary Alice) Jacoby, of Massachusetts and Mrs.
 Eugene (Katy) Holder, of Canton, Ohio; one son, Lewis C. Trent Jr.; and six
 grandchildren, all of Canton, Ohio; one sister, Helen Hostetler, of
 Salisbury.  Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 3, at the Central
 Baptist Church, Canton, Ohio.  Interment, Sunset Hills Memory Gardens,
 Canton, Ohio.
