Lewis Morgan and his wife Christian and Thomas Morgan and his wife (?) both of the state of North Carolina and county of Washington, for the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds, sell and convey unto Samuel Patterson a certain parcel or tract of land being the plantation the said Lewis Morgan formerly lived on near the ford and mouth of Chestnut Creek bounded by Isham Hodges on the upper and a survey the said Morgan made himself on the said Chestnut Creek containing 150 acres more or less.
