1850 Walton Co. p. 29 #395 Moon, Lewis S. 60 M b. NC Jesse M. 17 M b. GA Mary A. 10 F b. GA Lewis S. Moon's estate was administered by his brother, Joseph Moon. On 4 Oct 1859, Joseph closed out accounts on Lewi s S.'s estate, giving each of the following heirs $224.43: J. C. Moon [could this be I. C.?] J. J. Moon L. S. T. Moon The procedure was witnessed by Jesse Moon, attorney [Jesse Madison, nephew of Lewis S.?] Wm. H. Moon also includes a "Javus" and a John as children of Lewis S. Sr. I have found no evidence of them except fo r the 1820 census where there are two males (so born 1815-1820) who are unidentified. However, two "stray" Moons appea r in the households of Isaac and Jesse in Anderson TX--a John A. Moon b. TX ca. 1845 and a Lewis Moon b. Georgia ca. 18 41. They may have been nephews, sons of a son of Lewis S. we have no record for. Information on Lewis S. Moon Sr. i s a bit sketchy--more work needed.
